Coffee making is a ritual enjoyed all over the world. Making a completely automated coffee machine is an injustice to the true coffee-making experience. A coffee maker should make the coffee for you but also involve you in the experience of making it. It should complement your recipe of coffee making and make your daily morning special cup of joe along with you! Simply put:

Cafephiles
Coffee is a huge cultural and necessary part throughout the community. One such type of users is the coffee enthusiasts who spend heavily just to make coffee an integral part of their lives. Usually people with deeper pockets and an unnatural love towards coffee. Making a coffee maker for such enthusiasts is tricky and challenging as the automated machine should not lose the magic of the coffee brewing process and make the user feel being involved.
Make Your Perfect Brew
Making your Perfect brew in Caféssio is quite easy. The first step is to fill in all the tanks with their respective ingredients: Coffee grains, Water and Milk as required. Hover on the image to find the tanks for each.
Water and Milk are to be added as required and the machine will adjust the intake as per your needs. The coffee grains will also regulate the strength of the coffee which the machine will help you through.
Press the pump to perfectly press the coffee grains to give the best results.
Select your preferred settings and let the magic happen.
Water Shower
The steam condenses on the ring of the brewing basket and special outlets make the water streams flow in a spiral allowing it to form an interesting pattern.
This falls directly into the pressed coffee grains which in turn drips into the carafe placed below.

Future Scope
This classroom project delved deeply into understanding technical product design by closely examining the workings and mechanisms behind a coffee maker. Our objective was to create a new coffee maker that not only works better but also offers improved usability. Through this project, we aimed to enhance the functionality of an existing product, rather than just proposing a conceptual idea or solution.
At this stage, we have developed a basic idea and established a clear direction for the product. To take this project to the next level, we need to focus on the engineering aspects and start prototyping with different materials. This will allow us to refine the design, address any potential issues, and make necessary adjustments. By doing so, we can transform our initial concept into a tangible product that is ready for real-world use.
